Woolino swaddle

After trying four different styles of swaddle on my newborn, this one satisfied everything I was looking for. It’s wool, so it grips together when wrapped. It’s lightweight, so I used it throughout the entirety of PNW summers, but it’s cozy enough for winters as well. Plus, it lives on through the toddler phase as a stroller and crib blanket. It’s so beautiful and special, that this is a go-to gift for friends when they have babies as well.

Baby Wipes

These wipes are absolutely gentle and clean. Unscented, biodegradable, organic, and PFA-free. I continue to purchase these for my family. Bonus points because the price is incredibly reasonable.

Nose Sucker & Saline Solution

It’s really important for night time health that babies have clear nasal passages. I purchased this nose sucker and the saline solution before my baby arrived and used both in combo every day for years (often multiple times a day). Other brands are more costly, but I found this Frida sucker to be reasonably priced, reliable and a strong suction for everyday needs and when babies are sick. The saline solution is the most clean product I could find, short of trying to make my own. The pump feature is super important to getting up into baby’s nose.

Teether Toy

My baby loved this amber giraffe teether. It was superior to the others we tried and when I accidentally dropped it out of the car at a park across town - you can bet that I drove back to retrieve it. It can be chilled in the freezer. The little nubs are perfect for sore gums. And the amber properties really seemed to help when no other teething relief would help. Perfect for parents on the fence wanting to try amber products but the beads seem intimidating.

Breast Pump Flange Inserts (for any pump)

I struggled with my breast pump until I ran across a resource which directed me to these universal flange inserts. This brand has a huge variety of flange inserts and is incredibly reasonably priced.

Fiber

Not a glamorous product, but absolutely necessary. This product was my go-to when I was postpartum healing. Clean and without fillers. I felt safe taking this product (with my healthcare team’s input of course) as a breastfeeding mom.

Iron Supplement

Iron is kinda gross to ingest. You feel like a vampire and it’s not fun. This product does a great job of masking the taste and supplying birthing people with the important minerals for postpartum recovery, while avoiding constipation. I used this right before and after my baby’s delivery, under the guidance of my healthcare team’s advice.

Laundry Detergent

This brand leaves out all the excess chemicals which are often in our cleaners. Made in the USA with plant and earth-based active cleaning ingredients that are peanut free, vegan, and certified cruelty-free by Leaping Bunny. This is a link to the Peppermint scent (my favorite), but they also have unscented too. I also use their other cleaning products in and around my home. I love their whole line.
